SIMMLER'S COMPARATIVE EVALUATION STUDY

The Simmler Comparative Evaluation Study was developed to ensure that all laboratory technicians are proficient in their interpretation fo the Simmler modified Kleihauer-Betke method of fetal hemoglobin staining.

The study, in accordance with the College of American Pathologists (C.A.P) guidelines, incorporates photo-microscopy slides, to eliminate the stress to all involved with shipping blood products.

The study materials are mailed to the lab.  After evaluation, using the Simmler Fetal Cell Stain Kit Insert, the lab faxes or mails their results to Simmler.  Simmler then compiles the results.  After a sufficient amount of results have been obtained, the compilations are returned to the laboratories.

The Comparative Evaluation Study is available in three forms of participation.

S0412CE-1     One shipment per year

S0412CE-3     Three shipments per year (1 every 4 months from order date)

S0412CE-4     Four shipments per year (1 every 3 months from order date)
